One week left to say “NO”
The Trump-Pence administration is once again encouraging blatant discrimination against LGBTQ people, women, and religious minorities — communities that already face barriers to accessing quality, nonjudgmental care and other social services due to a number of systemic barriers. It's outrageous.

It's the law for the Trump-Pence administration to let the general public (aka You!) share your thoughts about this policy — and we have only one week left to flood them with comments opposing this dangerous and discriminatory rule. Submit your comment today and tell the administration exactly what you think of their needlessly cruel new rules »

I oppose this license to discriminate

How would this policy work? If these rules are finalized, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and many other Trump administration agencies, could award federal funding to “health care” and other social services providers who could refuse services or care to LGBTQ people, women, and religious minorities. This is one of many policies implemented by the Trump administration that seem intended to take your tax dollars from qualified providers (like Planned Parenthood health centers) and give them to religious entities that may refuse comprehensive services to their patients — like HIV and STI prevention programs, reproductive and other vital health care; youth homelessness services; and foster care and adoption services.

Pressure from the people is the only way to stop discriminatory policies like this — and it really does work. We've blocked and delayed similar policies before, and right now, we need to do it again.

There is only ONE WEEK left in the comment period, so don't wait — tell the administration that this policy is wrong and that discrimination has no place in health care.

In January alone, we've seen our rights and access to health care attacked repeatedly. Your comment today puts your opposition to these attacks on record and, when added to the comments of thousands of other supporters, can make a real impact.

We only have one more week to have our voices heard, so don't wait!

Sincerely,
