Alternate Elections open!
Comrades and friends,

We are pleased to see two candidates have applied for Santa Fe DSA's Alternate at the DSA National Convention. Todd W and Cecilia R have both volunteered to run. The election for Alternate Delegate will be carried out through the site Opavote, using a simple head-to-head election system. If you are a DSA member in good standing, please check your email inbox for your individualized Opavote link, which will contain instructions on how to vote. If you have not received in email, it means you may be behind on your DSA membership dues. Consider renewing dues as dsausa.org/join to continue to have the chance to vote in chapter decisions. If you believe this is a mistake, and have paid dues within the last year, please reach out to [email protected] so that we can look into the situation.

As a reminder, the chapter reading group is happening today, at 10 AM at Larragoite Park. We will be reading Chapter 4 of Lenin's "The State and Revolution". Afterwards, from 12-3 AM at Earth Care, our friends at YUCCA will be hosting the monthly Community Swap.

Earth Care will also be organizing a cleanup of the space tomorrow morning at 10 AM. If you have the availability, they would greatly welcome any additional volunteers to help maintain the space, which also hosts our general meetings.
