Last week, Target announced that they would be bowing to right-wing
extremists and removing certain items from their Pride collection after
false and deeply transphobic criticism of the collection began circulating
online.^1

This decision by Target is, sadly, not surprising. Big corporations like
Target simply use Pride as a form of "rainbow capitalism," making
superficially supportive statements about the LGBTQ+ community during
Pride Month to sell products and make a profit and then forgetting about
us as soon as June is over.

Which is why we here at MoveOn want to give you a different option for
snagging your 2023 Pride gear and are thrilled today to release our 2023

Unlike big corporations, every single cent made from these products is
used to fight back against laws attacking LGBTQ+ people and other
marginalized communities and to elect politicians who will fight to
protect our rights and humanity. And we do this work every day of the
