John, while Congress is in the midst of crucial arguments regarding the debt ceiling, guess what Republicans spent time doing on Tuesday? They held a fundraising auction for Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s used chapstick.
And the winner? Georgia’s own Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who bid a whopping $100,000 dollars on the cherry lip balm.
John, you really can’t make this up. While the rest of us are working overtime to keep our country afloat, Republicans are doing…whatever this is.
Sadly, this is the insanity that we’re up against. We’re already working on flipping the House blue again in 2024 – can you make a donation to my campaign to help me make this happen? [[link removed]]

For all her talk about representing the “working class,” now we know that Marjorie Taylor Greene won’t hesitate to drop $100k on used chapstick. What kind of person does that?
Let’s remember the work I'm doing in Congress centers on working families. I'm focused on what matters - making life better for families working to get ahead.
Americans deserve leaders who will spend their working hours actually doing their jobs. Can you donate to my campaign today so I can keep building Democratic political power in Georgia and beyond [[link removed]] ? [[link removed]]
