Team, Republicans in Washington have made it very clear that when it comes down to it, they will choose their political agendas over the American people.

I don’t know what hateful bills they will bring up next to distract us from our real and pressing problems, but here is my promise to you, team , I will always put people over politics.

Putting people over politics means I don’t have deep coffers like Republicans and their mega-millionaire donors. This is a people-powered effort, and we rely on grassroots donations of $5 and $15 to power our work.
