Team, Republicans in Washington have made it very clear that when it comes down to it, they will choose their political agendas over the American people. 

I don’t know what hateful bills they will bring up next to distract us from our real and pressing problems, but here is my promise to you, team, I will always put people over politics.

Putting people over politics means I don’t have deep coffers like Republicans and their mega-millionaire donors. This is a people-powered effort, and we rely on grassroots donations of $5 and $15 to power our work. If you can, will you chip in today so I can continue my work on behalf of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the American people?

Even with their slim majority in the House, Republicans have done nothing to improve the lives of everyday Americans. In fact, they are wasting our time and our tax dollars on bills that will never become law and investigations of their enemies.
