Farmers Market Benefit Cards Available to Eligible Seniors Beginning May 22

?

Beginning Monday, May 22, 2023, the Skagit County Senior Services Program will have a limited number of Farmers Market Benefit Cards available for Skagit County seniors, age 60 years or older (55+ if Native American/Alaska Native), who meet certain income requirements. To be eligible for benefits, you must meet the following income limit requirements:


* $26,973 annually or $2,248 monthly income for individuals
* $36,482 annually or $3,040 monthly income for couples

Each eligible person will receive up to $80 in benefits to be used at any approved Skagit County Farmers Market. Vouchers will be available while supplies last and given on a first come/first-served basis, with one benefit card available per person.

Eligible seniors can pick up their benefit card at the following locations:


* _Monday, May 22, 2023_
* *Burlington Senior Center* from 10:30 to 11:30 am
* *Mount Vernon Senior Center* from 1:00 to 2:00 pm

* _Tuesday, May 23, 2023_
* *Sedro-Woolley Senior Center *from 10:30 to 11:30 am
* *Mount Vernon Vintage Apartments* from 1:00 to 2:00 pm


* _Friday, May 26, 2023_
* *Mount Vernon Manor* from 10:30 to 11:30 am


* _Tuesday, May 30, 2023_
* *Anacortes Senior Activity Center* from 1:00 to 2:00 pm

* _Thursday, June 1, 2023_
* *East County Resource Center (Concrete) *from 1:00 to 2:00 pm

* _Tuesday, June 6, 2023_
