From the monumental steps taken by state lawmakers to bring Baby Bonds to children born into poverty in Connecticut [[link removed]] to our impactful partnership with AANHPI-serving organization, National CAPACD, to commemorate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. [[link removed]] Together, we’re bringing to the forefront the discussion on accurate data, CDFIs and wealth-building tools that support AANHPI economic equity and justice.

With the support of Bank of America, Prosperity Now launched a 12-month initiative to investigate and address structural inequities that nonprofits of color face. Prosperity Now created a cohort of BIPOC-led nonprofits to collect and share information, build capacity, and improve the technical assistance capabilities of the participating nonprofits. The initiative focused on two southern cities with diverse populations and nonprofits: Savannah and Memphis.
The cohort included five participating nonprofits and established the Racial Economic Equity Fellowship, which focuses on achieving organizational goals, providing resource and communication support, and organizational pitch development strategy. Read more below!
