Last summer, I filed a lawsuit against Ostrom Mushroom Farms in Sunnyside
for discriminating against female farmworkers and creating a toxic work
   environment and culture of retaliation.
Earlier today, I joined impacted farmworkers at El Centro de la Raza to
announce that Ostrom is required to pay $3.4 million for the harm they
caused — and send a clear message that Washington will not tolerate
discrimination or retaliation. That money will go directly to the
   farmworkers to compensate them.

In my first term as Attorney General, I created a brand new Civil Rights
Division to ensure all Washingtonians are treated fairly and equally. I am
proud that my outstanding team continues to deliver on this promise.
As Governor, I will bring this same level of commitment. And I'm hoping
that you'll stand with me in this important fight.
Thank you for your time and support.

one day! That means our campaign can now accept donations again. If you
support my work protecting the rights of Washingtonians please consider
   chipping in today.
