Across the country, LGBTQ+ rights are under attack due to a coordinated assault by extremist Republicans – and our trans youth are especially being targeted. That is why today on International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia , I'm asking you to stand with me and take action.
Time and time again, Republicans have tried to silence and censor LGBTQ+ voices, and these efforts have only intensified.
In the last year alone, at least 417 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced in state legislatures across the U.S. Not only are many of these bills utterly ridiculous and discriminatory – they send the dangerous message that being a member of the LGBTQ+ community is something to be ashamed of.
On this crucial day, I want to reaffirm my support for a community I care about deeply. I am committed to never going back – are you with me? Sign on to our petition now and demand Congress take action to protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community now.
