Earlier this week, we learned that North Carolina Republicans were introducing a 12-week abortion ban.

Yesterday, the ban passed the state legislature. It’s now headed to the Governor's desk — and it's likely that lawmakers have the votes to override a veto.

Republicans have shown their hand and made it clear that they only have one priority: controlling our bodies.

But our fight isn’t over. Last year, we stood up and voted Republicans out of office who support dangerous legislation — and we’ll do it again, because it’s up to us to protect women everywhere. Will you chip in $10 or anything you can right now? [[link removed]]

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned last summer, North Carolinians and Americans everywhere have made it clear that they do not support abortion bans. But Republicans aren’t listening .

Instead of our state being a beacon in the South for women all across the country to make decisions for themselves, Republicans have weaponized health care to gain power. I promise you, we will not – cannot – let them win.

We will fight this legislation, we will organize, and we will vote every single Republican who supports this legislation out of office – but only if we stick together. Chip in anything you can right now. [[link removed]]

Thank you for fighting with me,

Deborah
