Today I’m joining my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to reintroduce the America’s CHILDREN Act to provide a pathway to permanent residency for the 250,000+ documented Dreamers – children of long-term visa holders – living in the United States.

Our children are our future and I’m committed to making sure that all young adults have the resources they need to succeed — including a pathway to permanent residency.

Will you chip in $10 now to make sure I can continue fighting for America’s Documented Dreamers?

Our community, like many others across the country, flourishes thanks to hard-working immigrants. North Carolina is home to thousands of children and young adults who came to the United States at an early age as dependents of their parents.

Known as Documented Dreamers, these young folks grow up here, go to American schools, and call the U.S. their home. They’re American in every way — except on paper. On their 21st birthday, their dependent visas expire, and without a pathway to residency, they are forced to self-deport to countries they may barely remember.

Now more than ever, a pathway to residency is critical to protect more young adults whose lives have been impacted by our country’s dysfunctional immigration system.

Please, donate today to help me secure a future for these promising young adults →

Thank you,

Deborah
