John – the most recent gun violence attack in Texas is part of a much larger epidemic. Our country has now witnessed over 200 mass shootings in 2023 alone, and we aren't even halfway through the year. 

This needs more than just thoughts and prayers. We need action, and we need it NOW.

Far too many mass shootings are conducted with assault weapons – these weapons of mass destruction belong on the battlefield, NOT in malls, schools, grocery stores and movie theaters. 

That's why we must call for a ban on these weapons. The gun lobby cannot and should not profit off of the loss of human life. Banning the sale of these weapons is a no-brainer – AND has widespread bipartisan support across America. But we need to know if you're with us, John.
