It has been announced that the licences to rescue and release grey squirrels
have now been extended until December 2019. Natural England are feeling the
pressure, and we need to keep this up so that they do not proceed with their
plans to revoke the licences at all.

BIRDS LEFT TO SWELTER IN METAL CAGES
The recent heat wave would have brought misery for the breeding pheasants and
partridges imprisoned in raised metal cages on game farms. In June 2018, we
recorded temperatures up to 41.2C inside a game bird cage.
