Teacher Appreciation Week! Teacher Appreciation Week begins on Sunday, May 7, and we want to recognize all the great civic educators out there for everything you do! That includes naming this year's recipient of our

National Civics Teacher of the Year award! We are accepting nominations through Friday, June 30. All semi-finalists will be selected on Aug. 15, 2023, and will receive a $1,000 prize.


The Bill of Rights Institute National Civics Teacher of the Year award will be announced during our Constitution Day Live program on Sept. 17, 2023. That individual will receive a $5,000 prize. Do you know a civics teacher who should be recognized?
