Legislation was introduced earlier this month aimed at helping to prevent future school shootings by expanding the U.S. Secret Service’s National Threat Assessment Center with a greater focus on school violence prevention.

The National Threat Assessment Center has been essential to thwarting mass shooters and targeted violence since it was first created in 2008. The EAGLES Act is a critical expansion of the program that prioritizes research into the origins of targeted violence and directs key funding to prevent the next mass school shooting.

Can you take a moment to ask your members of Congress to support and pass the EAGLES Act? Our easy-to-use email tool will connect you with your Senators and Representatives in just a few clicks! [[link removed]]

While we’re hard at work advocating for policy and pushing forward real change in states and school districts, we’re also fundraising to support this work.

Can you help us keep our budget on track so we can hit our fundraising goals? Your contribution of any amount will be a critical resource to us in August and beyond. [[link removed]]

All our best,
