Today, Riley Gaines and other elite female athletes signed an open letter to Congress in support of protecting women and girls sports. The letter ([link removed]) , which was organized by Independent Women's Voice and first reported by OutKick ([link removed]) , is signed by 72 athletes . It offers a starkly contrasting view to Megan Rapinoe's letter to Congress in the heated debate over women's sports and legislation to keep women's sports female.
The pro-woman sports letter hits at all of the key points in the debate over biological males in women's sports—forcing females to compete against males is "unfair," "discriminatory," and "illegal." The letter in part reads: “[W]ithout single-sex teams and single-sex competition, men will dominate women in competitive sports where strength, size or speed are relevant factors. That is because, physiologically, the average male is stronger, bigger, and faster than the average female."
As Ian Miller ([link removed]) of Outkick writes, "This undeniable reality had been accepted for virtually all of human history, until activists demanded that biology and sex be sidelined." Read more ([link removed])

New York state lawmakers are pushing legislation that would allow male criminals to serve their terms in women’s prisons. Assembly Bill A709, styled the “Gender Identity Respect, Dignity and Safety Act,” would automatically place prisoners in the facility that corresponds with their “self-attested gender identity,” even if they have had no medical interventions such as hormones or surgery and are thus physically indistinguishable from a cisgender man.
