Today, Riley Gaines and other elite female athletes signed an open letter to Congress in support of protecting women and girls sports. The letter, which was organized by Independent Women's Voice and first reported by OutKick, is signed by 72 athletes . It offers a starkly contrasting view to Megan Rapinoe's letter to Congress in the heated debate over women's sports and legislation to keep women's sports female.

The pro-woman sports letter hits at all of the key points in the debate over biological males in women's sports—forcing females to compete against males is "unfair," "discriminatory," and "illegal." The letter in part reads: “[W]ithout single-sex teams and single-sex competition, men will dominate women in competitive sports where strength, size or speed are relevant factors. That is because, physiologically, the average male is stronger, bigger, and faster than the average female."

As Ian Miller of Outkick writes, "This undeniable reality had been accepted for virtually all of human history, until activists demanded that biology and sex be sidelined." Read more
