In the past two years, President Biden has lowered everyday costs for Texas families, created hundreds of thousands of jobs, and spearheaded an American manufacturing boom that has had a profound impact on Texas -- especially in the high-tech and semiconductor manufacturing industries. He’s fought to pass real reform to help Texas veterans. He’s funneled tens of billions of dollars to Texas to help us fix our state’s crumbling infrastructure. He’s been laser-focused on ensuring our border communities have the support they need, as well as stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl onto Texas streets. And in a state so familiar with the devastating impacts of senseless gun violence, President Biden was able to pass the first meaningful federal gun safety legislation in decades.
There’s still plenty of work to be done, Friend, but President Biden has shown himself to be the trusted, steady hand on the wheel that our country needs to guide us out of the pandemic-caused global economic shock -- and repair our nation’s standing on the world stage after four years of a leadership vacuum.
