We’re ecstatic that President Biden has announced that he’ll be running for re-election -- and we look forward to working like hell to ensure he has four more years in the White House fighting for hardworking Texas families. In the past two years, President Biden has lowered everyday costs for Texas families, created hundreds of thousands of jobs, and spearheaded an American manufacturing boom that has had a profound impact on Texas -- especially in the high-tech and semiconductor manufacturing industries. He’s fought to pass real reform to help Texas veterans. He’s funneled tens of billions of dollars to Texas to help us fix our state’s crumbling infrastructure. He’s been laser-focused on ensuring our border communities have the support they need, as well as stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl onto Texas streets. And in a state so familiar with the devastating impacts of senseless gun violence, President Biden was able to pass the first meaningful federal gun safety legislation in decades.

There’s still plenty of work to be done, Friend, but President Biden has shown himself to be the trusted, steady hand on the wheel that our country needs to guide us out of the pandemic-caused global economic shock -- and repair our nation’s standing on the world stage after four years of a leadership vacuum. Texas Republicans and MAGA extremists are trying to take us backwards -- focused on gutting Social Security and Medicare, taking away health care decisions for women, choosing the NRA over kids, banning books, and curtailing voting rights. With these Republicans working day and night to strip rights from and make life harder for the average working Texan, it’ll be real solace knowing we still have a champion in the White House who’s fighting for the freedom and wellbeing of everyday families in communities from Amarillo to Zapata. 

We must do everything in our power to secure four more years for President Biden.
