Bernie Sanders is surging in Iowa. He's received over 4 million individual campaign contributions. Volunteers have knocked over 500,000 doors in Iowa and made millions of calls. There's something special about this movement! People of every race, sexuality, age, gender, origin are organizing together to win real change in our society.

New Orleans DSA has a General Meeting ([link removed]) TONIGHT, 6:30pm at 2022 St Bernard Ave (building C, enter through the parking lot behind the church.)

Our General Meetings are the largest gatherings of our chapter, where fifty to ninety democratic socialists come together to hear updates on our local campaigns and projects, listen to educational presentations and debate and vote on political resolutions.

Come hear reports about the latest in the Hard Rock collapse, learn how to become a Bernie delegate, and debate resolutions on labor and fighting mass incarceration.

Our monthly direct service committee meeting where we plan our brake light clinics and our on going work with our coalition partners, Eyes on Surveillance and the Orleans Parish Prison Reform Coalition. Dinner provided, wheelchair accessible building.

Come meet local Bernie organizers and help us plan February's Bernie canvasses, phone banks, socials and other community events. Dinner provided, wheelchair accessible building.

Saturday, Feb 9th, 12 - 3pm, Bunny Friend Park
Come knock doors with us and help spread the word about Bernie Sander’s campaign for president and how we can build a movement to win a living wage, Medicare for All, a Green New Deal and democracy in the workplace. No experience necessary, we will have a short training beforehand. All materials provided.
