Happy Friday, and Eid mubarak to all celebrating!

On this joyful day, we've got some exciting news to share: BYD has been named Chapter of the Year by the New York State Young Democrats!
In announcing the honor, NYSYD wrote ([link removed]) that "through great adversity, our local chapter in Brooklyn has been able to produce time and time again for candidates and electeds" in the borough.

We're immensely proud that, despite a long effort by our own county party to stamp us out ([link removed]) , BYD has worked tirelessly to support progressive leaders, empower young people, and fight for a better, fairer Brooklyn. This moment would not be possible without all of you. Thank you for being part of BYD!

City Council primaries are coming up in June, but for our communities to participate, they need to be registered to vote!
