In Southern Dallas, Winning Is a Mindset

Our in-progress Five Mile Creek Urban Greenbelt, which will provide
southern Dallas with nearly 13 miles of trails, three parks, and 124
acres of outdoor space, is a welcome win for a historically
underserved population. Strange as it sounds, this ambitious project
sprang from a littered creek behind a high school-and a
community that demanded better for itself.

You Helped Expand These National Parks

National Park System. As we celebrate National Park Week (April
22-30), take a look at our impact-and yours-from Volcanoes
National Park in Hawai'i to George Washington's Birthplace in
Virginia.

Stop Attacks on the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)

John, we need your help. For over 55 years, LWCF
has protected more than 45,000 state and local park projects in all 50
states. Without it, many of our country's most revered national
parks and wild lands simply wouldn't exist. Yet, some members of
Congress want to roll back federal funding for this critical
conservation program. Tell Congress: Don't allow cuts to LWCF!
