The next meeting of the Democratic Socialists of America Ventura County will take place Thursday, February 6th.

February Chapter Meeting

When: Thursday, February 6th, 6:30-8:00 PM

Where: The Diversity Collective - 2471 Portola Rd, Suite 100, Ventura, CA <[link removed]>

This month's meeting will include:

- A special presentation by our member, Diana Kubilos, about Sociocracy, the method of self-governance using circle-based frameworks to allow all voices to be heard in an organization.
- Updates from our campaigns for Bernie Sanders, Medicare for All, and plans for the distribution of a Progressive Voters Guide for the elections in March.
- Discussion of upcoming outreach opportunities at Ventura College and other venues.
- Updates from the national DSA Red Rabbit Training.  How to best protect ourselves at meetings and events we attend.
- Discussion of our recent Reading Group selection "The ABC's of Socialism".
