Dear Friend-- <>

The legislature is back in session next week and, unfortunately, they're continuing their undemocratic attack on voters' ability to decide our political future.

Any attempt to make it harder for people to propose and pass their own laws is an attack on our core belief - that government works best when people participate.

That's why Ohio Citizen Action is fighting to stop HJR1. We need your help to stand up to politicians who are more interested in consolidating their own power than in representing the people of Ohio.

If you're ready to take action, there are several things you can do.

The page includes a letter already written to get you started <[link removed]>, but please feel free to edit. Letters are most effective when written in your own words.

P.S. We had a small, but satisfying victory in our utility corruption campaign. The Browns announced the early end of their FirstEnergy Stadium naming rights deal <[link removed]>. This should have happened as soon as they admitted to the bribery, but it's heartening to see public pressure making a difference in the fight against corruption.

Help us celebrate with a special contribution <[link removed]> to our Earth Day fundraising campaign. Thank you!
