We explore how progressives should build infrastructure to combat AIPAC’s
unlimited spending in Democratic primaries — even as some “progressive”
consultants and advisors seek to capitulate to the anti-Palestinian lobby.

In the last cycle, AIPAC backed over 100 insurrectionist Republicans and
spent tens of millions against anyone who spoke up for Palestinians in
general elections and primaries.

The progressive movement has to learn from Summer Lee’s victory over
AIPAC. It’s a recent and concrete example of how a strong candidate with a
well-run, community-driven campaign and large progressive coalition can
overcome AIPAC’s multimillion-dollar machine.

If AIPAC is going to spend millions of dollars on misleading attack ads
aimed at progressive Democrats, we have to fight back — but money in the
bank is the number one thing that has impacted our ability to push back
against AIPAC these past few years.
