Friend, I want to wish you a very Happy Easter weekend! I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends, and reflect on the many blessings in our lives. Each day, I am grateful for my family -- my pride and joy, and my biggest supporters. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent Iowans, and that you have placed your trust in me to serve. And I am grateful for my faith that continues to ground and guide me each day. During holidays, I am always reminded of those who are away from their families. I am so grateful to our service members, first responders, and law enforcement officers for the sacrifices they make to keep our country safe. I am keeping all those who protect and serve our nation in my prayers. "As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man, dressed in a white robe, sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him." Mark 16:5-6 May this season be filled with Easter blessings for you and your family. Best, Upcoming Town Hall Meetings Being transparent and accountable to Iowans is my top priority in Congress. Our relationship is rooted in our shared democratic values -- a commitment that allows us to flourish not only as trading partners, but as steadfast supporters of freedom on the global stage. Iowans, and all Americans, stand with the people of Taiwan and I was proud to deliver that message.
