A Powerful Capitol Hill Event
On Wednesday, March 29, we hosted a kickoff event on Capitol Hill, celebrating Representative Earl Blumenauer's (OR-03) introduction of the Food and Farm Act of 2023. Joined by animal, health, justice, farmer, and environmental advocates, we shared how today's Farm Bill fails nearly all of us - while advancing a transformational vision for United States food systems.

Frank's Flight for Freedom
Seven years ago, Frank's escape from slaughter drew national attention. People in Queens, NY cheered along as footage captured Frank fleeing from a truck and making his escape. The public recognized his will to live and joined us in a calling for his release to sanctuary. Through collective action, Frank was relinquished into our care. Today, he is a leader of his herd at our New York sanctuary.
