Earth Day Webinar for Kids

Earth Day is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and take action to protect our planet and our shared future. Our modern food system profoundly impacts communities and the environment, and at Farm Sanctuary, we’re committed to building a sustainable, compassionate food system.

On Friday, April 21, our humane educators will present a special Earth Day online webinar for K-4 students. Caring for Our World: Human & Animal Communities is a chance for kids to discover how caring for the Earth is a way of caring for one another and our global community.

Teachers and parents can sign up to join this meaningful, age-appropriate Earth Day webinar today.

Capitol Hill Event

On Wednesday, March 29, we hosted a kickoff event on Capitol Hill, celebrating Representative Earl Blumenauer’s (OR-03) introduction of the Food and Farm Act of 2023. Joined by animal, health, justice, farmer, and environmental advocates, we shared how today’s Farm Bill fails nearly all of us — while advancing a transformational vision for United States food systems.

Frank’s Flight
for Freedom

Seven years ago, Frank’s escape from slaughter drew national attention. People in Queens, NY cheered along as footage captured Frank fleeing from a truck and making his escape. The public recognized his will to live and joined us in a calling for his release to sanctuary. Through collective action, Frank was relinquished into our care. Today, he is a leader of his herd at our New York sanctuary.

Support a
Better Farm Bill

Through the Farm Bill, the U.S. invests more than $700 billion every five years in a factory food system that perpetuates immense harm and injustice to all. Please tell Congress to support Representative Earl Blumenauer’s ”Food and Farm Act,” a bold revision of the Farm Bill that would shift investments away from Big Ag and our factory food system.
