It’s amazing when Trevor’s findings lead to life-saving action. For example, President Biden’s June 2022 Executive Order, which advanced LGBTQ-affirming policies, cited our data to demonstrate the need to protect LGBTQ young people.

But at the state level, legislators are pushing record numbers of anti-LGBTQ bills and laws. And they’re taking a toll.

Our January 2023 poll found that because of these policies — and the platform they've provided for ugly public debates to spread — 45% of transgender young people experienced cyberbullying in the past year.
