CHAPTER SETS PRIORITIES


** NEW COMMITTEES FORMING

Comrades and Friends,

At the March 26 general meeting, attendees discussed and deliberated and with strong agreement set three chapter priorities for the coming year: CLIMATE ACTIVISM, LABOR SOLIDARITY, and HOUSING.

As our first act to address these priorities, we are forming a committee tasked with getting our chapter STRIKE READY!
This means ready to render assistance to Teamsters expected to strike when the UPS contract expires at the end of July. To join the Strike Ready committee, email us at [email protected] or attend our 30 April general meeting.

From pro-oil-and-gas legislation to conservative threats to our school boards, many of us feel moved to redouble our efforts in the field of electoral politics. Start down the path to effective action by joining the Santa Fe DSA ELECTORAL POLITICS COMMITTEE, meeting this Thursday 06 April at 8:00 PM by Zoom: [link removed]

DSA National Convention August 2023: the DSA Santa Fe chapter will begin preparing with info on electing delegates, reviewing resolutions, and convention procedure, at our next general meeting, 30 April 2:00 PM at Earth Care, 6600 Valentine Way, Santa Fe. Zoom link by subsequent email.
