We’ve got the tea on Matthew Kacsmaryk, the federal judge who will rule on
the abortion pill mifepristone.
1. He has donated to far-right political candidates, including Senator
Josh Hawley of Missouri.
2. Josh Hawley is married to Erin Hawley.
3. Erin Hawley is one of the lawyers representing the Alliance for
Hippocratic Medicine — the group trying to get rid of mifepristone in
the USA.
It’s outrageous,
John.
Matthew Kacsmaryk has ruled against reproductive rights. He’s open about
his anti-abortion beliefs. He is a longtime activist for the religious
right. And he’s a political supporter of the husband of a key player in
this case.
Kacsmaryk CANNOT rule fairly on the future of mifepristone.
