Our team has been laying a strong foundation for this leadership transition for several years and actively planning for several months. A Transition Committee made up of staff and members of our Leadership Council has been working closely with the executive search firm Axis Talent Partners ([link removed]) to prepare a job description that reflects the needs and values of our team.

The ideal candidate for the role will:
* Have a strong vision and a people-centered leadership style.
* Be passionate and committed to the rights of immigrants, with deep knowledge of and personal connection to the undocumented experience.
* Bring experience leading or supporting as a senior leader in a mission-driven organization, particularly through times of evolution, growth, and/or scaling.
