Not long after Lucas Kunce launched his campaign to replace Josh Hawley in the U.S. Senate, top election watchers started paying attention to the movement we’re building in Missouri. National Journal even called Lucas “one of the Democratic Party’s better offensive targets” in 2024.
And they’re not wrong. From the moment Lucas got into this race, he’s relentlessly called out Hawley for being a fraud + a coward — and it’s paying off.
Earlier this month, GOP insiders like Tucker Carlson went on cable news and did everything they could to convince viewers that Hawley wasn’t actually a coward for running away from the Capitol on January 6th. And just last week, a new poll showed Hawley facing “intensely negative sentiment” in Missouri.
So we have a real opportunity to defeat Hawley and flip this seat in 2024… but that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy. Groups like the National Republican Senatorial Committee are already trying to tear down Lucas + the movement we’re building behind him because they know Hawley is vulnerable.
That’s why it’s so critical we start preparing our campaign right now for whatever shady attacks they throw our way.
