John, I have an important update on the state of our race, so I wanted to personally reach out:
FIRST, I launched my campaign to represent California in the U.S. Senate, where there are currently no Black women serving today.
THEN, Fox News and MAGA extremists wasted no time launching a smear campaign against me to stall my momentum.
NOW, I'm falling short of what I need to fight back against these extremist attacks and win this race.
With experts saying I'm already at a fundraising disadvantage, we can't afford to miss a single goal. But with time running out before my midnight deadline, we're on track to fall just short. That's why I need to ask:
