John,
Facing a potential indictment coming any day now, Donald Trump took a defiant stance in Waco, Texas at his first major political rally of the year.
He opened his rally playing a song recorded by people imprisoned for their roles in the insurrection while playing footage from Jan. 6th.
Then, without evidence, Trump repeatedly attacked prosecutors for investigating him – calling the investigations “bullsh*t,” claiming local prosecutors in Manhattan and Fulton County are the “henchmen” of national Democrats, and proclaiming himself to be “the most innocent man in the history of our country.”
John, Trump uses these rallies to double down on his lies and his dangerous rhetoric. It’s important that we tell the truth in the face of those lies, and that we hold Trump accountable for the crimes that he has committed.
Failure to hold Trump accountable is failure to protect democracy. CREW is hard at work to make sure Trump is held accountable, and we need your support to get the job done. Of the over fifty crimes Trump likely committed, he's been charged with ZERO.
We're all accountable to the same laws, whether we've sat in the Oval Office or not.
Why does Trump get a pass?
It's time he's held accountable for his actions and investigated for the crimes we have clear evidence of him committing.
