In less than 50 years, the Arctic has warmed nearly four times faster than the
rest of the world— and each fraction of a degree is having a devastating impact
worldwide, from rising sea levels and more intense heat waves, to threats to
food and water security.



That’s because what happens in the Arctic, doesn’t stay in the Arctic.
Instead, its temperature changes are having a knock-on effect all around the
world — disrupting global weather patterns and leading to more frequent extreme
weather events.



We’ve teamed up with Arctic Basecamp <[link removed]> — a
group of scientists who have spent years raising awareness about what’s
happening in the Arctic — to help you discover more about climate change and
the Arctic, and take action to protect it.
