The subject of the article was our two-day training boot camp for congressional staffers tasked with investigating the Biden Administration. The retreat was part of CPI’s ongoing mission of teaching young conservatives how to win in a city and a system rigged against them.
“Topics discussed at the boot camp included tutorials on obtaining records and deposing and interviewing witnesses,” Politico reported… accurately!

The article quoted a congressional watchdog group: “I’m not aware of any other group that has held trainings so consistently and for such a wide range of staffers.”
Yep: that’s the point!
A Republican establishment lawyer was concerned about CPI inviting conservative staffers to a conference and “coaching them on how to get more aggressive.”
A left-wing activist said this: “CPI says they’re in D.C. to drain the swamp, but from here it looks more like a hostile takeover.”
