Kevin McCarthy became Speaker of the House by making promises to the most extreme members of his party. Now we’re seeing the consequences of McCarthy’s concessions.

So far, we've seen nothing but utter dysfunction from the Republican House. No attempts to address the many issues facing our country, like education, climate change, reproductive freedom, and gun control. Just political stunts, extreme legislation, and more chaos.

Republican extremists want to criminalize women’s healthcare, attack vulnerable LGBTQ+ youth, and implement a 30% national sales tax to make life just a little bit harder for working families. Their attention is clearly focused on partisan politics rather than the American people.
