The first FEC deadline of the year is this Friday and thanks to the generosity of #TeamLizzie, we’re on our way to a strong first quarter financially.
We’ve seen what we can accomplish when we work together — first and foremost, sending Lizzie to the House where she’s helped lower prescription drug costs, address gun violence in our communities, and worked to protect access to reproductive care.
At the same time, we’ve seen what D.C. Republicans intend to do with control of the House: They’ve failed to organize their own caucus, argued over leadership, played games and threatened to default on the national debt, and advanced bills that would hurt American families and students rather than help them.
The difference in leadership is stark, and that’s why we need to stay focused on re-electing Lizzie and leaders like her so we can win back the House. Reaching our fundraising goals is an important aspect of that mission.
