John,
If it seems like we’re always asking for money, that’s because we’re a grassroots-funded organization, and we’re behind where we need to be in our budget this year.
Our fundraising has slowed down—but our work to elect prochoice champions who can stop abortion bans at their sources hasn’t.
We know our candidate coaching and voter engagement work is crucial and impactful, and in order to continue our work and scale up our fight for abortion access and reproductive care, we need your help.
John, if you’re able, help us close the $3980 gap in our budget by March 31st at midnight.
Here’s what you’re funding: we’re targeting 3.97 million voters in Kentucky, Virginia, Texas, and Pennsylvania (among other states!) this year who can help keep anti-abortion legislation from passing or being introduced by electing state and local prochoice champions.
We’re coaching and endorsing more candidates than ever before because we know that state and local races matter, judicial and municipal races matter, and we’re seeing how local disinvestment takes a toll on progressive legislation across the board, not just reproductive care.
So if you’re looking for a way to get involved in reproductive care access, please consider making a contribution to #VOTEPROCHOICE—every dollar counts and gets us closer to a future where everyone can access the care they need and deserve.
Thank you for being a part of our movement,
Maris Nyhart
