Taking back the Senate is not optional. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP are shamefully standing in the way of lowering the cost of prescription drugs, protecting our elections, and so much more. We can’t make any progress in the face of this obstruction.

There is no doubt that we need to defeat President Trump in 2020, but we won’t be able to undo the harm he caused and move our nation forward without a Democratic majority in the Senate.

We can win back the Senate, but we must start by defending every Democratic seat, including here in Illinois. Contribute $5 to help elect a Democratic majority in 2020.

We know the Republicans will fight tooth and nail to hold on to their majority in the Senate. But if we stand together, the battle for the Senate and the future of our country is one we can win.
