Few people know that privately held land still exists within our national parks. Many of those inholdings are at risk of being developed, threatening the parks' overall integrity. Trust for Public Land is determined to fully protect these national treasures by conveying private inholdings and threatened lands adjacent to parks into public ownership, ensuring their unspoiled beauty can be enjoyed for generations to come.
