ICYMI: The Ranked Choice Voting bill is moving forward! The Senate Elections Committee has added the RCV bill to the elections omnibus bill, SF 1636, which will have a hearing TODAY, Tuesday, March 28 at 3:00 pm . And yes –– we do need you to show up again!

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to grab an RCV t-shirt if you don’t have one and a good seat! We’ll be there to greet you outside the hearing room. Remember that legislative hearings have strict decorum policies, and while we all care passionately about RCV, attendees should refrain from clapping, cheering or disrupting the legislative process. By showing up at the hearing, you are truly helping to advance this powerful democracy reform in our state. Thank you so much!
Reminder that we also need you to contact the Senate Elections Committee [[link removed]] : Thank committee members who passed the RCV bill out of committee earlier this month and added it to the omnibus bill, and then urge them to vote YES on the omnibus bill! Numbers matter, and we want them to get lots of emails!
While the bill has gone through several changes, it continues to expand Ranked Choice Voting in Minnesota and represents a big step forward for RCV in our state.
