John --

Here in Alaska, climate change isn't some far-off worry about the future. The effects are here and now. Melting sea ice, increased coastal erosion, and growing wildfires threaten our economy, our infrastructure, our health, and our way of life.

That's why I'm proud to announce that we will be the first U.S. Senate campaign in Alaska to offset all carbon emissions from our travel.

I'm committed to a carbon-neutral campaign because I'm committed to protecting our environment, but purchasing offsets for travel around the largest state in the union won't be cheap. Can you pitch in to help us offset our carbon emissions and help defeat Dan Sullivan?

We're already seeing the effects of the climate crisis on the ground in Alaska. In our coastal waters, rising water temperatures and decreasing sea ice threaten both our fishing industry and the communities that rely on fishing for subsistence.

During Alaskan summers, historically large wildfires threaten to destroy property and make our air quality dangerous to breathe.

And throughout many vulnerable areas, erosion, flooding, and melting permafrost could wreck our infrastructure and displace people from their homes.

That's why, as I travel, our campaign will offset our carbon emissions.

This commitment is just the start, and as your Senator, I'll fight to save Alaska's climate and its people. Chip in to help make this Alaska's first carbon-neutral campaign today.

Thank you for supporting our campaign to send an independent Alaskan who'll fight for our environment to the Senate.
