California Republicans recently gathered for their first meetings since the 2022 elections — which included a keynote speech from Kevin McCarthy.

Just like clockwork, he dedicated a portion of his speech to attacking Adam:

Kevin McCarthy: Adam Schiff “lied to the American public... He should never become senator for California.”

Let’s call this false attack for what it is, John: Desperate.

Kevin McCarthy is perhaps the weakest Speaker in the history of the country. We knew that from the moment…hours…days and 15 votes it took for him to be elected Speaker. Now, Kevin is fully beholden to the MAGA and QAnon crazy caucus who still holds a grudge against Adam for leading the first impeachment against Donald Trump.

Kevin’s not the only one obsessed with Adam, either. The biggest players in GOP politics — Trump, McCarthy, and Fox News — are united in painting Adam as the boogeyman of the national Democratic Party. They’re running negative attack ads, spending time during primetime speeches, and doing all they can to sabotage Adam’s campaign. We need the resources to take on all of them.
