This week, Marianne and the campaign are in South Carolina to continue building our momentum in early voting states for the Democratic nomination.

South Carolina is a critical state in the primary process, and it will play a key role in shaping the direction of our country. The people of South Carolina are looking for a candidate who is committed to bringing forth a new beginning and addressing the issues at their core. Not only is Marianne the only presidential candidate challenging the business-as-usual governing that fails too many everyday people, but she is uniquely positioned to meet that challenge.

It’s critical that we build our on-the-ground operational capacity for South Carolina. To do this, we have set a campaign end-of-quarter goal to raise $100,000 before the end of March. And we have only a few days to do so.

Since Marianne officially announced her candidacy earlier this month, we have spent every day organizing a movement to disrupt the corrupt economic system that has pulled the rug from underneath so many Americans. And in just under one month, thousands of you have responded in support. 1,529 volunteers joined our campaign, and that number continues to grow each day.

Now, it is time to take that message directly to the people of South Carolina. We will be holding events to connect with voters and share Marianne’s vision to fundamentally change our country’s priorities, so it finally serves the people, not the corporate class.

We are confident that our message will resonate with the people of South Carolina, and that we can build the momentum we need to win this critical primary. But we cannot do it alone.
