The first FEC quarterly fundraising deadline of the year is just days away. After the deadline, we – along with every campaign across the country – will have to publicly report our fundraising numbers from the first quarter of the year. Here’s why the numbers on our FEC reports matter:
Donors and advocacy groups use them to decide which campaigns are worth investing in.
Potential opponents look at them to gauge which candidates they think they could defeat.
Strong fundraising at this point in the election cycle allows us to make early investments that will make an exponential impact down the line.
