Last week, House Republicans brought in the TikTok CEO to answer questions on
the social media app’s data-collecting practices and connection to the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP). It’s as bad as we thought. Our country’s most
significant existential threat is the administration’s blind eye when it comes
to the CCP. Now, they are using free market principles as a disguise to trick
Americans into permitting their continued infiltration of our country.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to
Russia, Hung Cao joined Fox News to discuss what this alliance could mean for
the conflict in Ukraine and the national security of the United States. While
China portrays itself as a peace-seeking world leader in the Ukraine conflict,
the reality is China wants to prolong the conflict to divert attention from its
own military build-up and aggression.

Cao writes in a new Washington Times op-ed “Over the last decade, the United
States has witnessed a concerning trend in which meritocracy in business, the
military, and education is increasingly sidelined in favor of what we know as
“woke” ideology. This trend has grave consequences for our country’s future. It
undermines the fundamental principles of fairness, equality, and opportunity
that have made America the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
