We’ve said it too many times now. It’s the guns.

They’ll come back and say it’s “CRT” or “woke politics” that’s dangerous for our kids.

But we’ll say it again — it’s the guns.

They’ll come back and say it’s “gender ideology.”

But again — it’s the guns.

A dozen times, a hundred times, a thousand times.

It’s the guns that are killing our kids.

The shooter in Nashville carried two assault rifles into that school today. These are weapons of war. Every enlistee spends months training on them, and they continue training throughout their military careers. The possession and use of these weapons is strictly regulated on bases.

Here at VoteVets, we know it all too well. These weapons have no place in civilian hands, and we’ll continue pushing to keep our kids safe by keeping these weapons off our streets.

But today, we’re thinking of six new families with an empty seat at the dinner table.

Stay strong, and don’t lose hope. We need you with us in this fight.
